𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗜𝗣𝗔𝗙 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 & 𝗜𝗔𝗣𝗔𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and KHL Group have announced that the IPAF Summit and the International Awards for Powered Access (IAPAs), originally scheduled for 21–22 April in Istanbul, Turkey, will be rescheduled to 𝟭𝟰–𝟭𝟱 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

The decision has been made in light of current events in the Middle East and to ensure the safety and wellbeing of delegates, sponsors and employees, particularly given the travel uncertainties affecting attendees from the region, including shortlisted companies.

Delegates will be able to transfer their existing bookings to the new October dates. Those unable to attend are encouraged to contact IPAF. Attendees will also need to rearrange any hotel and airline bookings.

Peter Douglas, CEO and Managing Director of IPAF, said:

“As joint organisers, we regret the need to take this action, but it had become clear in recent days that we had no choice but to change the dates.

“The safety of all those involved in the Summit and IAPAs is paramount. We know this will be an inconvenience for all those attending the event and we ask for your understanding.

“We hope that by mid-October the situation in the region will be such that we can meet and enjoy this annual celebration of our industry.”

Organised by IPAF. The site visit is planned for Wednesday afternoon – more information will be provide nearer the time. Attendance is free and open to IPAF Summit & IAPAs delegates and IPAF members. N.B. Pre-registration is essential.

Held the evening prior to the IPAF Summit, the reception is €25 per person to attend and offers time to socialise and network in a relaxed and informal environment. Space is limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

Held during the day, senior representatives gather from across the access community to hear from industry experts on the latest developments. High-profile speakers from rental companies, OEMs and government agencies present, debate and interact during the course of the day.

4 / IAPA Dinner & Awards

International Awards for Powered Access are held in the evening. Jointly organised by Access International and IPAF, these independently judged awards are considered by many as the industry benchmark. The celebratory evening commences with pre-dinner drinks followed by the dinner and awards.
